All About the Job: EHS Engineer

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

What you’ll be doing:

The EHS Engineer is responsible for conducting worksite evaluations to identify potential health hazards, including chemical exposure, noise, and other environmental factors.

  • Perform air sampling, noise monitoring, and other specialized tests to assess exposure levels
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions
  • Develop and implement control measures to minimize or eliminate identified risks
  • Assist with permitting, ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, and stay up to date on industry best practices
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about industrial hygiene principles and safe work practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (Public Health, Occupational Safety, etc.)
  • 2-10 years of experience in Environmental Safety in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards with a focus on industrial hygiene
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industrial hygiene software (a plus)
  • Stable work history
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
